Tim Doppel is an eclectic author with a passion for writing. While operating a business for over 20 years, and then managing a non-profit for another 8 years, Tim still found time to write articles tailored to his audiences, and received great acclaim in doing so. Now retired, Tim focuses his writing on what he likes to write about, which is history, religion, and fun stuff for his grandkids. His four published books have nothing in common, except the author. Tim likes to work in his landscape, read, go camping, and travel. He resides in Michigan with his wife of over 40 years.
My Story
Tim Doppel is an eclectic author with a passion for writing. An entrepreneur for over 20 years, he also served as the Business Manager for a sizable non-profit organization. Additionally, along with many friends and companions, Tim led a non-profit mentoring program for 12 years in a high-need school district.
Tim has written many industry related articles as well as faith-based programs for VBS activities, church programs, and church publications. He was the primary author and editor of The Healthy Landscape: Landscape Care for A New Century manual. Tim was awarded the Environmental Communicator of The Year from the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association.
He is the author of 101 Ways To Romance Your Spouse, The Wind That Did Not Blow, The Adventures of Earle & Pearle, and Love in Action. Tim’s weekly blog, An Everyday Evangelist, reflects his insights and perspectives on various aspects of life, faith, and community engagement.
He resides in Michigan with his wife of over 40 years.
