Each week of the year, there is a specific Gospel reading presented by the Church. We hear sermons and homilies that are meant to both educate and inspire us. However, each of us will respond to the message of the Gospel in our own way based on what is going on in our life at that moment. How I respond to the same Gospel will vary based on what life events have influenced me leading up to the hearing of the Word that particular week.
Here is a book with reflections of the weekly Gospels from one person’s point of view. Love In Motion breaks open the Word with clarity, honesty and life experience. These are not homilies you will hear in church, but they will inspire you just the same. In order to build the Reign of God here on earth, we must be willing to step out and BE the Word of God to one another. These reflections will give you inspiration to do just that.
